Here at BOOM Library, we take pride in creating the most modern and intriguing effects for your trailer sound design. We also take pride in the work of our clients in putting those effects to good use. In the past few months, some truly classic trailer soundtracks have been created which are using our sounds.
As usual, we invite you to watch and learn from some of the best trailer sound designers out there. Listen to how they use impacts to end music sequences and swipe transitions in Babylon, use creepy stutters and atmospheric noises in The Menu and impacts to highlight scene transitions in Super Mario Bros. Bones and All is an especially interesting trailer, since it uses a classic song – Leonard Cohen’s “You Want It Darker” – and still manages to utilize impacts, risers, and downenders to give it a trailer feel without distracting from the crooning Cohen.
