The BOOM Signature Series (formerly known as “The Complete BOOM”) contains all the signature libraries that our customers have always loved. These signature libraries each cover one theme in great detail, variation and industry-leading quality. It is our flagship, trusted in high-end media productions around the world, be it live shows such as the Olympics, Hollywood blockbusters or TV shows and games. The signature series currently consists of 88 libraries and continues to grow.
As part of our effort to simplify and unify our product lineup, the Signature Series replaces The Complete BOOM Ultimate. While the names have changed, the content remains exactly the same.
Current owners of the The Complete BOOM Ultimate product do not need to take any actionātheir plans will be automatically transitioned to the BOOM Signature Series, providing seamless access to the expanded library.
The BOOM Signature Series covers a comprehensive range of sound categories, from cinematic sound effects, over foley sounds to weapon sounds, transportation sounds, animal sounds as well as serene nature ambiences.
While BOOM ONE is a versatile, general sound effects library, the Signature Series is designed for more specialized, demanding sound design projects. While BOOM ONE offers a broad range of high-quality sounds, the Signature Series provides a deeper and more detailed collection of sound elements. Often, it includes both designed sounds and raw source material, offering enough variations to thoroughly cover each theme. This allows sound designers to dive deep into specific topics, rather than covering a broad array of sounds as in a general library, making the Signature Series ideal for complex and intricate productions.
You can purchase individual sound packs or choose from three bundle options: Basics, Stereo, and Surround. Each offers different variants of the collection to suit your project needs and budget. Additionally, BOOM offers a subscription model, allowing you to avoid the initial upfront cost and to always get the latest product of the series as long as youāre subscribed.
Yes, as a subscriber you will always get direct access to each new product of the Signature Series as long as youāre subscribed.
Yes! The Signature Bundle offers savings of over 40% compared to purchasing individual packs. It’s a cost-effective way to access the entire BOOM Library collection, either through a buyout or subscription.
From Buyout To Subscription
No problem, you will have to pay the recurring fee from the date you switch to subscription and then you will benefit from the monthly updates.
You will not lose your buyout license! If you want to transfer your buyout license into the subscription, so that you don’t own the buyout license any more, we can give you a high credit on what you have already paid. This is an individual solution, so please contact us for more information.
From Subscription To Buyout
You can cancel your subscription but then you will lose the direct access to the monthly updates that were and will be released during the year.
The minimum subscription term is three years. After the three years, the subscription automatically extends for additional 12 months periods to keep you updated with constant new sounds.
Many sounds in the BOOM Signature Series are available in both stereo and surround formats, giving you flexibility for different types of projects, whether you need wide immersive soundscapes or focused stereo mixes.

When your subscription expires, your license to use the sounds for new projects also expires. If you want to continue using the sounds, please resubscribe or purchase the Buyout version. Projects that have been published during your subscription term remain licensed forever.

We differentiate between sound FX and sound file. Each sound file can contain multiple variations of a sound (up to 6 variations based on the product).
That way, we assure to provide you with different styles of a single sound in one file instead of multiple files, keeping your database nice and clear and speeding up your workflow as you have multiple variations available by dragging only one file to your audio host software.
Having multiple variations of a single sound effectĀ also guarantees you a less repetitive overall soundscape when using theĀ effect multiple times in a row or over and over again in several projects.
