Opening up an amazing new nature SFX collection to you: “WETLANDS” is giving its debut and reveals amazing new acoustics! “Like an intimate embrace of water and land – life at its fullest celebration.”
With careful planning, patient recording and favourable luck, Sound Tracker® Gordon Hempton has created this fantastic ninth Quiet Planet nature library that will totally expand and deepen your understanding of natural sound spheres.
“WETLANDS” are areas of unique shape and beauty. Enchanting and glamorous in their own way, they form the most biologically diverse eco systems of their own: they hold genuine treasures and outstanding sonic shapes: ever-changing with the arc of the sun, they are sonically diverse and offer great signal strength. At the same time, they are one of the trickiest habitats to record – all the more well worth the effort. As used here, “WETLANDS” include places with standing fresh water such as swamps, marshes, ponds, and lakes. In fact, it’s the water itself that creates these very special acoustic biospheres – as a propagator of sounds, causing them to travel further and louder due to surface reflections and temperature layers.
This collection covers recordings of wildlife and scenery at different day times and intensities, e.g. birds playing and hurrying across the water, late evening frog concerts, rainfall lapping on the lake, the slap of a beaver tail on the water – and so much more.
“WETLANDS” comprises more than 9 GB of SFX: with a total of 196 files of unaltered high-quality recordings and more than 9 hrs, you’ll be adding an extraordinary and rare treasure to your sound pool. Metadata has notes on species ID, when to use and geographic location.
Make sure to order your copy until September 4th to benefit from our 20% release discount, which reduces the price of the stereo version to only 143,20 € (regular price: 179,00 €) and the surround version (with +24 GB) to only 239,20 € (regular price: 299,00 €)!
