Job Description:
Skydance Interactive is looking for a senior sound designer to join our studio. Our ideal teammate is comfortable acting in a lead capacity, whether managing outsourced talent or acting as the sole audio designer on a project. From creating a high level audio vision to final mix, you will own the audio pipeline.
Responsibilities:
- Originate and implement all aspects of game audio from concept to optimization.
- Identify technical dependencies and get support for audio features.
- Work with designers to identify audio needs and manage production and implementation.
- Record and direct VO talent, managing dialogue and localization production.
- Find and direct outsourcing talent, creating and managing an outsourcing pipeline.
Requirements:
- Five years experience in game audio development with at least two shipped AAA titles.
- Exceptional sound design and implementation skills.
- Understanding of PC and console development, capabilities, and limitations.
- Proven ability to drive a vision and oversee it from conception to final implementation.
- Work well with all departments and accept and run with feedback.
- Familiarity with UE4. The more Unreal experience, the better!
Pluses:
- Passionate about competitive shooters.
- Experience with audio middleware, especially Wwise and FMOD.
- VO directing experience.
