Valued at 2.975€ we are sure this gift in your stocking will make for a very happy Christmas. So, what do you need to do to win? We know you’ve been good this year, so we’ll skip over that part and get right to the juicy details:
WHAT WE WANT YOU TO DO
Sequoia is great for mastering, so in the spirit of the gift, we want you to master an unmastered BOOM Library sound.
- MAKE IT LOUD: Master the sound as good as you probably can. Get the best out of it only through mastering it.
- BALANCE IT: Bring the right frequencies to shine at the right time.
- DON’T LAYER: Don’t add any further sounds (neither synthetic sounds nor audio files).
- BE CAREFUL: Don’t let the file clip.
- DOCUMENT IT: We would like you to either screenrecord a short video taking us through your process or use screenshots to show us, what you did step-by-step. That way you all get to see how your fellow BOOM Library users individually master, which will be fun and valuable for all of us involved to see.
- Download the sound we wish to have mastered
- Get busy making it sound good and loud
- Make sure the audio file is in stereo 96kHz, 24-bit .wav, as that is the mastering standard.
- The audio file should be titled: Lastname_Firstname.wav, so if your name is John Snow your file would look like follows: Snow_John.wav
- Put the mastered file in a folder called Audio and the documentation video or pics in a folder called Documentation, pack them in a zip-file titled “Lastname_Firstname.zip” (e.g. Snow_John.zip) and send it via wetransfer.com or however you like to transport files to win@boomlibrary.com (subject=Sequoia)
- The desired folder structure is shown in the pic below
The closing date is December 23rd 2016. We will announce and contact the winner on January 16th 2017. Good luck! Hohoho!
