TROPICAL FORESTS is the seventh SFX library from our series of high quality and amazing nature recordings by Emmy-winner and nature recording genius Gordon Hempton. Hempton has searched the globe for more than three decades to record nature at its most pristine.
Tropical forests receive large amounts of solar energy and are therefore loud. High species diversity also translates into more complex ambiences sometimes becoming symphonic with dramatic wildlife vocalizations. This collection delivers a powerhouse of opportunity from cloud forests, rain forests, oceanic forests. Metadata includes notes on species ID, when to use, and geographic location.
The collected bio-acoustic treasure of PRAIRIES includes for instance various indigenous animals such as a wide spectrum of songful birds, buzzing insects, howling coyotes or chirping prairie-dogs. The PRAIRIES library naturally also comes with a generous range of wind recordings: gusting, blustering, softly blowing, breezing, roaring through the typical vegetation of this area. As special features, the library holds weather phenomenon recordings of grass fire and distant thunder rolling in.
The Soundminer Metadata has notes on species ID, when to use, and geographic location.
To quickly dispel any doubts at this point: none of these prairie SFX repeats the “Winds Of Nature”library.
